As Mr. B. said, it was not a bad game, but our defense can play much better. I'm confident that it will.
Kudos to:
- Emily, game ball, at a critical moment in the game threw a runner out at home from the outfield.
- Jessica, yet again pitched a complete game when we asked her to (adds to her iron-person reputation). She also scored two runs.
- Megan Murphy, had four walks (must be some kind of record) and scored three runs.
- Ashley, had a solid defensive game at shortstop (five assists).
Special Kudos to:
- The Sjostroms, for the wonderful pizza party after the game!
Even though we came up short, there were positive signs. If we concentrate on that we'll do just fine.
