It should be noted that eight different players had hits and nine different players scored runs. That is great team balance!
Kudos to:
- Maggie, game ball, for a line drive double off one of the better pitchers in the league.
- Nicole Troisi, allowed no runs, no hits, and struck out six in four innings pitched. She also hit a triple.
- Danielle, allowed no runs, only one hit (which was barely a hit), and struck out eight in three innings of relief pitching.
- Kati, had two hits and scored two runs.
- Taylor, hit a double.
- Meredith, showed great patience at the plate, with two walks.
